RotaCare Receives 4,000 Masks

Mineola-Garden City Rotary had responded to the District’s “Million Mask Challenge.” Club volunteers have been delivering 10,000 masks to be divided between RotaCare, New Ground, to local essential workers and to both the Garden City and Mineola Fire Departments among other entities in need.

On January 25, Mineola-Garden City Rotary, along with the Hempstead- Uniondale Club delivered a total of 4,000 masks to RotaCare which provides free medical care for the uninsured and those in need on Long Island.

Mineola-Garden City Club President Diane Marmann, along with Assistant District Governor Beverly James and Diane Deans, president of the Hempstead-Uniondale Club each donated 2,000 masks to Gary Jendras, president and the staff of RotaCare.
