Volunteer Reflection from Michael E.

The following is a testimonial written by Michael V. Ercolano, a RotaCare volunteer. We are so grateful for our volunteers, and would not be able to provide our services without them.

“RotaCare is an amazing group of very talented and dedicated professionals and support staff who volunteer their time and services to help those less fortunate.  In addition to medical care, we are also one of a very few clinics that provides essential medications for free to qualified patients.  Without RotaCare, these patients would have nowhere else to go.”

“I began as a volunteer pharmacist with RotaCare in 2017, when I was a graduate student pursuing an advanced pharmacy degree.  In order to fulfill my degree requirements, I needed clinical experience and direct access to patients, which was very hard to come by.  I had almost given up searching, but then RotaCare was recommended to me by a fellow student who had been in the same predicament.  RotaCare provided exactly what I needed, and the staff and patients have been extremely accommodating.  I have since earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and I will be forever grateful to RotaCare for the help I received.  It is a great place to volunteer and gain experience, and a very worthy cause to donate to.”
